Brett & Kimberly | Classic Garden Wedding
November 20, 2020
Kimberly (30, Legal Assistant) and Brett (29, Pest Control Technician) chose a classic garden wedding that was held at Green Villa Barn & Garden in Independence, Oregon. A color palette of pale blue and dusty rose, accented with rose gold. Kimberly chose a lace mermaid gown and carried a bouquet filled with blue hydrangeas and peonies. The venue is charming and cozy with the twinkle lighted barn and magical gardens. The manicured grounds provided an old-world backdrop for the ceremony. Surrounded by their loved ones, the two got married outside surrounded by blooming hydrangeas. Guests made the most of the gorgeous outdoor gardens at the ceremony.
Kimberly wore mermaid lace Allure Brides dress from Charlotte’s in Beaverton. She chose a custom made illusion neck and sleeves were added with the matching lace appliques. She accessorized her gown with jeweled Badgley Mischka heels, a custom monogram cathedral veil, and a peal crown from her mother’s wedding. Brett wore a tailored very light blue colored three-piece suit, with a matching bow tie from ASOS and mahogany dress shoes. The bridesmaids wore gorgeous floor-length blush and dusty rose cocktail dresses – mix and match style. The men wore cornflower blue three-piece suits with dusty rose-colored bow ties and mahogany-colored dress shoes.
The newlyweds were showered with love and tradition for their special day. They planned a father and daughter first look and a bride and groom first touch. Both were incredibly moving as you can see the joy and excitement radiating over everyone. Surrounded by blooming garden flowers, petal lined aisle, and sheer curtain draped alter waited for them for their ceremony. Kim and Brett were SO excited to see the other as Kimberly and her father walked down the aisle, and their family and bridal party crowded nearby to watch this special moment.
After a thoughtful ceremony and portraits, they joined the rest of their guests in a cozy reception. Soft blue linens, mix-matched vintage china, hanging floral installments, and twinkling light were all used to create a classic and timeless atmosphere. To end the day they danced and laughed with all their loved ones until the late hours of the night, sending off with an ally of sparklers.
I absolutely adore this bride + groom – two of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet! They might look familiar from their engagement session that was also featured here on the blog
